Selling Before Tax Season

Dice that say do it now

Even if you are thinking of selling your firm this year, it may not be top priority with tax season right around the corner.

But if selling is part of your new year, NOW is the time to list.

We can get the listing set up and work with buyers behind the scenes while you prepare tax returns this busy tax season. Once May gets here, we will have worked hard to have buyers ready to meet with you to discuss the sale of your firm. Let us work for you while you work for your clients this tax season, providing you maximum exposure in the market this coming year.

With all the uncertainties in the country right now, buyers have still been actively looking to pursue the purchase of accounting firms and tax practices. We’ve been pleasantly surprised by the amount of great activity we’ve seen from both buyers and sellers and you could be the next success story!

We’ve communicated with lenders and as of now, they are on board for this coming year!

Banks will continue to perform due diligence on the revenues of the firm being sold but other than some additional questions about projected revenues, it appears lending will still be available for quality CPA firms and tax practices.

If you are ready to sell, then it’s the right time to list. If your practice is profitable and you have a stable client base, then there’s a buyer out there for your firm. With all that’s going on, the accounting industry is essential and needed more now than ever.

Things may be a little different, but we are still working diligently to provide our clients and customers a great experience. One thing we know – Accounting Biz Brokers hasn’t missed a beat this year and we are excited to see what’s ahead! We are ready to work hard for you and help you achieve your goals. Moving forward and looking to the future together, we can make it happen!
